Press release: Laura Steden takes over as Head of Sustainability at DER Touristik Group

Laura Steden will take over as Head of Sustainability at DER Touristik Group with effect from 15 March 2022. In her role as Director Corporate Responsibility, she will be responsible for sustainability management at DER Touristik Group. She takes over from Ulrike Braun, who is leaving the company at her own request after more than six years.

In her new role, Laura Steden will report to Sören Hartmann, Chief Executive Officer DER Touristik Group. "Sustainability is a key future and management issue for us. In recent years, we have greatly expanded our commitment under the leadership of Ulrike Braun - both internally and externally. We thank Ms Braun for her extraordinary commitment, with which she has laid a strong foundation for the sustainability of the Group and successfully built up the DER Touristik Foundation," says Sören Hartmann. "We are equally pleased to have gained an extremely experienced sustainability expert in Laura Steden to continue the ambitious work in this area."

Laura Steden has a total of 15 years of experience within REWE Group, where she held various management positions. Most recently, she headed the functional area of sustainability. In this role, she was responsible for the development and management of REWE's sustainability strategy. Previously, she worked in in-house consulting and as Head of Business Development at REWE Far East in Bangkok, among other positions.
