The Sentido & Aldiana Club Naga Bay hosted the new event format „DER TOUR Campus Sales Summit“ for the first time from 17th to 21st April 2026, which was enriched by the participation of around 100 leading travel agency partners, Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, and Karl Pojer, Senior Advisor at DER TOUR Group, as well as committed talents and industry experts. A special feature of the new format: participants actively shaped the content, focal points, and discussions by contributing their expectations, perspectives, and ideas in advance.
The Sales Summit’s theme was entirely focused on partnership, mutual development, and co-creation. Keynotes addressed current and future topics in daily sales collaboration, including the direction of DER Touristik Hotel Division, which was also intensely discussed in break-out sessions and open forums. One of the plenum’s highlights was a keynote by cultural scientist Kirstine Fratz on the topic of Zeitgeist. In addition to the professional programme, the Sales Summit offered ample opportunity for networking, personal and open exchange, as well as for getting to know and experiencing DER Touristik Group’s hotel brands ALDIANA and Sentido in Naga Bay. A special highlight was the shared day trip, during which participants visited the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.
