To further promote and elevate the art of creative cocktail making within DERTOUR Hotels & Resorts, our experienced Corporate F&B Manager, Frank Funke, organises special mixologist training sessions at regular intervals. For these, he relies on the expertise and skills of talented colleagues such as Andreas Mecke, David Wiedemann, or Manuel Perez Arredondo, the Bar Manager at Playitas Resort, who support him in conducting these professional training courses.

In these educational and practical mixologist sessions, our hotels' passionate bar teams will be specifically introduced to contemporary techniques, creative flavour combinations, and current trends in the world of cocktails. Furthermore, special attention will be paid to the future development of mixology to sustainably inspire and further train our teams.

A central element of these training sessions, particularly in the ananea hotels, is to empower bartenders to actively and creatively contribute to the development of the in-house ananea Signature UMI cocktails. The aim is not only to master the art of cocktail creation but to enrich and shape it with their own ideas – in line with a vibrant and innovative bar culture within our establishments.
